There is (to me) a clear distinction between God and Church. God (true faith) Internal as opposed to Church (false belief) External. I love music, it carries an intention and love of humanity. I believe that which brings true hope is blessed by God. I am not in any way criticizing anyones belief/hope/prayers/meditations/freedoms, I am with good intention just pointing out that the journey to God is internal and eternal. The church (all human constructs) can open portals but in most cases limits access via an intermediary. I have felt the presence of a force greater than myself, a creative benevolent and unifying divination, so many times on my human journey. I feel truly blessed to have had that gifted to me. My most recent encounter was probably the most profound for me. I was holding a month old baby in my arms and she stared into me, I knew so deeply that the unconditional love we are born with is our first encounter with God/Love/Creation and from that moment on we are conditioned to ignore/deny/reject any true personal acknowledgement or faith in our own connection with the eternal. That is why I wrote this song called Halo. Many may think it a godless song but it is in fact the opposite. Love is God, God is Love, LOVE IS ETERNAL.
